Committees

Communication Committee
The Communications Committee, chaired by JuanF. Garcia, coordinates and updates the website and Sydney Harbour Bulletins as needed. If you have any suggestions for articles or bulletins, please send it through the neighborhood e-mail at sydneyharbour2009@yahoo.com. The bulletins are distributed through e-blasts to all residents.  If you know of anyone who is not receiving emails or not on the Sydney Harbour e-mail listing, please have them send their e-mail & mailing address to sydneyharbour2009@yahoo.com.

Landscape Committee
The Landscape Committee, chaired by Jackie Warren, is charged with the beautification of Sydney Harbour.  This committee works hard to keep the subdivision plants and trees nurtured.  They are responsible for purchasing and planting as needed, for managing the landscaper who has been contracted to keep the common areas mowed, edged, and cleaned. The Landscape Committee also manages the Yard of the Month.  Sometimes they have a difficult time determining who should win for the month because Sydney Harbour residents have such beautiful yards.

Events Committee
The Events Committee, chaired by Kathy Emery, is charged with the fun in the neighborhood.  Kathy and her committee sponsor several events throughout the year to gather neighbors together to have fun.  They try to mix the entertainment between children's activities and adult activities.

Pool & Clubhouse Committee
The Pool and Clubhouse Committee, chaired by Don McCullough, is responsible for insuring the good working condition of the pool.  This committee also determines who the pool company will be each year and works closely with them to ensure lifeguards are always available and the pool equipment is working.  The Pool & Clubhouse Committee also manage the clubhouse to ensure it is working good and clean.  If you should have any questions or concerns about the pool or clubhouse, please e-mail  sussan.summers@montagecs.com.

Architectural Committee
The Architectural Committee, chaired by Allen Paine, is charged with determining approval or disapproval of all property change requests from residents.  Please use the website under Architectural Control to review the guidelines and obtain the correct forms.

Volunteers

If you would like to meet and work with your neighbors, be a part of one of the committees. Please fill out a contact form for more information or e-mail sussan.summers@montagecs.com.
